Hey and welcome 👋 to the next installment of a FlatTrack update!

Public status 📢

FlatTrack is now public! 🎉

You can find the project on GitLab, here (mirrored to GitHub, here). Your contribution is welcome! With this, together, we can cross-pollinate the best solutions that improve the way that flats operate and build community around community. We're really excited for what you'll do with the project and are looking forward to your contributions.

Beta status 🎁

The project is nearly ready for beta. What beta means for the project is:

  • it's stable enough for semi-production use (it is very stable currently)
  • the project ground-work has been layed out enough for the long term; being in alpha, breaking changes are not as much a problem

Releases📍

Since June, FlatTrack has seen four new releases:

Throughout these releases, there's been lots of changes, fixes, and additions.The next release is imminent! ⌚

Future 🔭

FlatTrack.io hosted platform

Instances will be eventually available for a small price per month. The instances will be fully managed and require no setup, etc…These instances will be completely portable (once back up and restore has been implemented) to ensure 0% vendor lock-in.

There are numerous ways to contribute and if you're not a programmer that's OK, there's still other ways. To name some:

  • being a community fellow
